Harry Potter Party!!!

The Newberg Public Library was one of 15 libraries in the nation to win the chance to have this party and give away of the new illustrated Harry Potter Series. So here we are off to the party! Reed as Ron Marian as Ginny, and Dani as a cute witch!

 The Sorting hat sorted them all into houses!  Reed and Marian got Hufflepuff and Dani was sorted into Slytherin

 The got badges and class schedules when they got to Hogwarts AKA the Library

 Mad Eye Moody was there to help give lessons in Dueling

 So so cute!!!

 There were so many fun people and costumes!

 They got to make wands and here they are going on a hunt for the lost Horcruxes

 Madam Pomfry was there to help with the Mandrake toss

 Muggle Studies was up next (if you look behind the lady in pink there is the Whomping Willow)

 They had to find Muggle objects in that box

 Next was Care of Magical Creatures with a Garden Gnome toss

 Then off to a Quiddich Match... Can you spot the Snitch?

 Then Transfiguration...where they transformed paper into a Howler!

 Then it was off to Potions where Dani made Polyjuice Potion with a Crabb hair in it... Marian made a love potion which she said she was going to give to Austin (the boy down the street), and Reed made a draught of the living dead!

 Dani and her pet dragon she named Abby Ann...she wanted to bring her to bed with her after we got home...

 Reed and Marian both won copies of the Sorcerer's stone with the new illustrated cover, and Reed ran into a friend who also had won a copy (they had 100 copies to give out)

 Say Cheese! They got O.W.L. badges too! Those balloon balls are from the Whomping Willow game

 I was dressed up as a Muggle :o) Here are the Death Eater masks they made along with their Howler cards and their class schedules and wands.  We all had a ton of fun! Thanks Newberg!!!
