Chirstmas!!!

Reed so very excited with all the Transformers that he got!

Here was Reed's new castle that daddy had to spend at least 45 minutes putting together for him. Now to keep Dani away from it so she doesn't destory it.

Dani was so cute whenever anyone gave her a present, she just lit right up and put out her arms and had the biggest smile on her face, I just could never catch a picture of it.

Reed was so excited with all the new toys he got for Christmas this year. All he ever said he wanted was a transformer, so he got 4 :o) along with a remote control car and a castle with action figures to play with in it. Marian said she wanted dollas (dolls) so she got 3 princess barbie dolls and a beach barbie doll along with a barbie jeep and lots of barbie books. Grandma & Grandpa Shepherd got her a big princess tent too. (I am still trying to figure out where to put it) She and the other two just love spending as much time as possible in it. Marian loves to build "nests" and "go camping" so this was just perfect! I also got her an easy bake oven, but I didn't have the right kind of lightbulb so once again Grandma and Grandpa Shepherd came to the rescue, but she had to wait till she got home that night before she could cook anything in it :o) Dani was fun, we got her several books one of which was another "Brown Bear" book "Baby Bear Baby Bear What do you see" along with a phone that makes animal noises. The Shepherd's gave her a rocking horse that sings and a farm animal piano. If you can't tell she loves animals and music. They also got Hungry Hungery Hippos and a Memory game, and lots and lots of play dough. They should have lots of fun for the rest of this year :o)

Let it snow....

We went over to my parent's house to help the other kids build a snowman, Marian wanted to sled, and Reed got cold fast. So My brother and sister and I (with a little help from the kids) built two snowmen. Two BIG snowmen! :o) I hope they last for most of the season! :o) Dani wasn't sure she wanted to be outside at first. Then she really decided that the cold and snow weren't for her and Grandma had to come to the rescue :o) For poor Reed's sake I didn't take any pics of him because his snow pants are purple, lest anyone think I am trying to make a girl out of him, just wait till you see what he got for Christmas :o) Yes Dani did have a coat, but when Grandma saved her she took it off. I just took Dani out for a minute for the pics.

Marian birthday cont. :o)

Marian wanted to wear earrings to church just like mommy does. So she got her dress up clip on ones and off she went :o)

Meal time with cats and kids

I know the color is off, but watch till the end it was pretty funny. Dani must have been ready to eat because she kept trying to put on her bibs and Pho saw one that had strings and went nuts. Jeff and I were laughing so hard, I was crying :o)

The lights were suprisingly really fun just as themselves! They were a lot of action ones that were fun to watch. They had one where a bear gets sprayed by a skunk, it was cute :o) Also one where a bunch of the animals put a star on the christmas tree. Really it was really very fun!

Here was an escape artist who was out on the sly he tried to get back to where it was supposed to be but he couldn't slip back under the tarp.

We got to go to see the Zoo lights this year with Grandma (Catherine) Shepherd. It was a lot of fun as you can see. The lights were awsome and so were the tigers! They were running around playing with balls and jumping in and out of the water, even Dani was growling while watching them. The lights were all pretty cool too! Can't wait to do it again next year!

Marian turns 4!

Marian's birthday started early with a visit from Grandma &Grandpa Shepherd.

Sorry this was out of order, but here is a cute pic of Dani eating a frosted ghram cracker. I thought she looked like we had face painted her to look like a cat. :o) too cute!

At last Marian got to go to Chuck E Cheese! She waited good all day and when Daddy got home we took off. They all had a blast!

Every time we go Marian has to ride the bird bike thing. I don't know what it is about it that she likes so much more, but she does :o)

And her favorite part! Getting to see Chuck E Cheese himself! She has always just gone nuts when she gets to see him. Even the one on stage she loves to go see! Dani however was different story. Mariah set her down to see him and she turned around and screamed and looked like she was going to climb up Mariah in 2 seconds to try and get away.

This has got to be one of the best inventions in the world! Markers that only color on special paper! Nothing else! Marian is our little artist and LOVES to draw, and color! She had a lot of fun with that the next morning!

A Tinkerbell fairy doll! She was very excited she is starting to get into the doll thing and loves tinker bell!

I know this is cruel, but I'm sure I will be forgiven eventually :o) It was just too darn cute! Reed was almost as excited as Marian was to play dress up with her. After all what are siblings for :o)
