A growing Doodle bug

I have a hard time believing that this is my baby! She is growing up so fast! She talks like a 3-4 year old and thinks just as well (sometimes not such a good thing) The other day she got out of bed to use the bathroom and she told me that she was a cutie as she walked back to bed. She knows too well how to run the house with her little cute face! (I mean come on how can you get mad at that face!) Although she has started to throw her little (I should say loud!) temper tantrums, then she does get in trouble. She yells at the top of her voice if the door is closed or if she has to take a nap or go to bed, let me tell you, that gets old really fast.

Marian the Farmer!

So the other night there was this BEAUTIFUL sunset! I think we get ones as good as they claim in Hawaii! Anyway, so there a couple of shots of that for you! (by the way I love the view from my front porch!)

Yesterday I tell Marian to get dressed so we can go to the store and a few minutes later this is what she comes out looking like! She says "look mom!, I'm a farmer!" It was so cute I had her keep the hat on when we went to the store! :o) There are days when she sooooo reminds me of me!

Merry Christmas 2011!!!!

Marian and Dani both got princess socks and had to wear them as soon as they pulled them out of their stockings (Reed got Car's socks and also had to wear his)

One of Reed's favorite cartoons is the Rescue Hero's and this is his favorite person from the show :o) It would not surprise me if he wants to be a fire fighter when he grows up :o)

Reed also got the game Battleship (and had to take to up to the grandparent's house to play it) along with the Walkie Talkies!

I loved this sequence of pictures with Marian getting her panda bear. You have to admit that that bear is dang cute! :o)

By the way Marian did love the dress, she just wanted to hold Dani's hand in the picture. (and I thought it was too cute to pass up on)

This year I forgot the camera at the Grandparents house so all I have is them opening gifts at our house. They all were remembered this year (even though I forgot some of the gifts and had to give them to them the next day) They all had a very merry Christmas this year!!! Dani can't wait till next year. I still can't believe that she woke up so early saying Merry Christmas to us and asking for her presents!

Christmas time activies....

Here is Reed singing at his Christmas program! He did a really good job and now knows lots of Christmas songs!

The kids got to meet Mater! He was all decked out in Christmas lights and even had a tree he was towing :o) Also if you look close you can see a blue bird on him as well. :o) The kids LOVED it! :o)

This year we made gingerbread men for the kids to decorate :o) They enjoyed making them almost as much as they enjoyed eating them!

Even Roxy wanted a taste :o)

Reed got to have a Christmas party in class and I was able to go and help with it :o) Reed thinks that I should be at every school party that they have, so I was glad that I could go to this one :o)

Zoo lights this year! Were FREEZING! So we spent most of the time in the reptile house and made mad dashes out to see some of lights

We met my friend Jamie and her family there, but it was so cold that we ended up just trying to hurry though the zoo to see as much as we could without getting frostbitten!

This is a very fun one to watch, all the animals hand the star up to the monkey to put on top of the tree

Marian had a little lamb

Marian finally got what she wanted for her birthday! Sheep! Lots of them! What a way to make a 5 year old happy! Thanks Grandpa Shepherd! LOL

 Marian Shepherd, the shepherd! Love this pic.  Before I could say "no don't pet them I don't know if they are friendly or not" Marian had a piece of grass and was half way up the hill to give it to them.  Roxy couldn't believe what she was seeing and wasn't so sure she wanted her Marian so close to them.

 However they ended up being very friendly and the girls loved them! (Reed was too scared)

 Dani wasn't so sure what to make of that woolly face being so close to hers :o)

 I felt like we were getting ready for our own sheep trials ;o)

Marian's 5th Brithday!!!!

Well the pics here ended up in completely random order, so bear with me :o)

I really can't believe that she is 5.  Where did the time go?  I can believe Dani is 2 and Reed is 6, but Marian 5? Wow!

 All the kids could talk about for the up coming weeks was getting to see Chuck E Cheese! (he is more popular than Micky Mouse at our house)

 I love those cups, they make such cute pics :o)

 Reed is such a game addict :o)  I had to explain to him about the football game.  He was telling me that you had to knock down the bad guys in that game.  So I told him the game was about trying to get the ball across the goal line.  He seemed a bit confused, and asked if you were supposed to hit the other guys, so I said yes and he was happy. :o) Boys.

 Marian loves to be a little mother, she ended up carting her cousin Kaitlyn around most of the night.  She would help her get up on a ride and then after it was done, she would say "jump!" and have Kaitlyn jump into her arms and then she would carry her over to the next ride and do it all over again! :o) I was really cute to watch.

 Here the kids (after waiting so patiently) got to meet and give hugs, and knuckles to, the infamous Chuck E Cheese! Just look at their faces!  This was more anticipated than Christmas!

 Even Dani mustered up enough courage to slap the big guy some skin and give him a hug, once, after that as soon as he looked at her she would run away screaming :o) (until he gave her a piece of candy, than she said "Chuck E Cheese loves me, he not eat me!")

 Grandma and Grandpa Shepherd got Marian a jewelry music box.  That and her my little pony have been the hit of the night.  (and the two most played with!) Grandma Shepherd even made the little bracelets that have her name Marian Rose on them, and one that says Love you.  So cute! I heard that Grandpa also has some sheep up at his place.  Won't Marian be surprised :o)
