Dani and Clara see each other for the first time

Awwww, don't they look like best buds already! Such closeness :o)

Dani and Clara finaly got to meet after hearing so much about each other for those long 9 months! :o) They are about 1 week apart. At first Clara was supposed to come 1 week before Dani and then the doctors changed their mind and told her to wait 1 week after Dani :o) It was so fun having Sommer (Clara's mommy) due the same time that I was! Uncle Eric is now a daddy! Now Jeff can tease him about all those dirty dipers!

Decorating the Christmas tree!

Here are the kids helping me to decorate the Christmas tree! We put it up the day before Marian's birthday, and boy did they have fun, they were so excited to have the decorations put!

Marian's Birthday!

Marian and Big Bird. She has been very attached to him since I got him out of the package for her. Thank you Grandma Shepherd! I think she has a new best friend!

Marian's "Happy Day" Brownies. Marian loves to say "Happy Day to you" instead of Happy birthday to you. It is really cute, so I put that on her "cake". She was cute, she blew one candle out at a time :o)

Marian was really excited to get presents, and she loves all of them! (when Reed isn't playing with them) I can't believe that we have survived the terrible twos. Now onto year number 3! I can't believe how fast they grow up! I am going to have to cut those adorable curls soon too :o( They just aren't keeping like they should and they keep getting tangled and in her face. She is sooo smart she is learning what Reed teaches her when he gets home from school. She loves music, drawing, and her animals :o) She may be sassy and contrary at times, but she can also be so sweet she makes you melt :o) Can't wait till she's a teen! (j/k) :o) But boy we love her!

Thanksgiving

Hunting through the "Black Friday" adds, Reed was just as much into it as
everyone else was :o) and Dani found a new friend :o)

I just wanted to add a few pics of Thanksgiving this year. It was really nice up at the Shepherd's house in Wallsburg. I had smoked turkey for the first time (it was soooo good!).
