Happy Easter!

This year we went to the city run egg hunt, it was pretty fun!
They had a little petting zoo of sorts put on by the 4H club with rabbits, chickens, ducks, goats, and cows!

After the girls had their hunt they pet the cows and played in the ball field while waiting for Reed's hunt.  He was supposed to have gathered eggs at the same time they did, but he didn't go out in the field when they said go. He was rather sad, then we ran into our neighbor and she said her son (the same age as Reed) was going on a hunt in a half an hour, so Reed got to go on one. He was happier after that. :o)

This year we dyed eggs! The kids had fun (even if it was me that ended up doing most of the dying)
We got to spend the afternoon at my aunt and uncle's house for Easter this year, Jeff of course, found their cat Jezebel, while Marian found a recently killed lizard and the kids played with it most of the afternoon.

It was sitting in front of the cat's house when they found it, I think she had just brought it in
Here is the playhouse the kids wanted to play in and eat snacks in.  A funny story, after dinner they all wanted to have a snack out there, so I put some jelly beans in a cup and told them to eat them for a snack.  Marian came back only a few minutes later asking for more.  I told her no, that had been enough and she said, "mom we gave them to Perla to hold on the way there and she ate them all, we never got any!"  Ha, ha! I hope she learned to not give food to the 2 year old to hold on trips :o)

 Easter pics of the kids!
 Lexi, Marian, Reed, and Dani!
Let the Easter Egg hunt begin! (my aunt knows how to keep her kids coming for the egg hunt, she puts money in her eggs!)
Dani thought it was pretty cool to find money, but would rather have had more candy, her cousin held a small kid hunt in the house later for them to find chocolate eggs, I think that only increased her infatuation with him. :o)

Dani, Jill, and Perla.  My aunt landscaped this whole area

These are the frogs that sing to us! This one was at my uncle's house, he helped me find one to get a picture of them. We had a yummy dinner and played Scotland Yard afterward, thanks for the fun!
