I have just discovered DoTerra Oils!!! I LOVE them!!! If there is anyone who wants to try some, let me know and I will let you see for yourself how much better you can be feeling. Just to let you know what I have tried and how it has helped me I will start off with how it started. I had a headache and my mom let me try some of her Peppermint oil, no kidding, within 5 minutes the headache was completely gone! So a few weeks later I had another headache, and it was bad enough for me to break out the Excedrin 2 hours later I still had the same headache, the Excedrin hadn't touched it. So I caved, I pulled out the jar of Peppermint my mom had given me and put about 2 drops of it on my temples. Once again with 5 -10 minutes the whole headache was completely gone! Not a trace! I have never found any medicine that has gotten rid of them that fast. Then a little while later I had pulled my back and it was so bad I couldn't bend over to pick things up from off the couch, and was worried about leaning over at all because I might not be able to get back up. My mom had also given me a small rub on vial of the DoTerra "Deep Blue", which I rubbed on my back a couple of hours later. Within a half an hour my back was fine, no pain. I went to bed that night thinking, well, it will probably be back tomorrow (because this kind of back pain had never taken less then a couple of days to heal). Nope, no pain the next day either, it really was gone. Now whenever I get sciatic pain, that is the first thing I grab, and it's gone. Now that I was hooked and a real believer, I got a small sample pack that came with three oils Lemon, Peppermint, and Lavender. Now I thought I will use the Peppermint, but when will I ever use the others? Well I heard that the lavender was good to put on cuts, still being skeptical (I don't know why at this point) I got a small cut while fishing for something in the garbage disposal (which you know means infection). So I thought, hum, I will really see just how well it really works at getting rid of infections and healing cuts, so I put a drop on my finger, within 2 seconds (I literally blinked, and then looked back at my finger) the red inflammation was visibly smaller, and in less than a minute I had to look hard to see where I had been cut! Fast forward a few weeks and I find out that Marian has a bad outbreak of eczema all up and down her right leg, so I start with my normal treatment of the Aquafor lotion which has always cleared it up before (however I have always caught it earlier before) After a week of using the Aqaufor and not seeing any difference I didn't know what to do. I ended up showing my mom, and she said,"Oh, let me make you up an oil blend that will help with that". So that's what she did, and guess what? Next, I started to get a cold (brought on from the kids getting up several times in the night for several nights in a row) One of those starts in the eye, then goes to the next eye, then stays in your sinus... Well I had been hearing about this "On Guard" from Doterra, this time I was not that skeptical and I said ok mom sigh me up, I need some of this, so I became a consultant and got my bottle of On Guard. Took one drop (that is powerful stuff, you'll see what I mean you try it) and within half an hour my symptoms were gone. That morning I had noticed Reed was sniffing too, so when he got home from school I gave him a drop as well and the same thing happened, symptoms all gone within half an hour. They stayed gone too. I added the On Guard to my diffuser so that we were breathing it in and I think that helped too. Speaking of the kids getting up in the night, I started rubbing the Lavender onto their feet at night, and you guessed it, they have slept through the night since. A little while later I woke up one morning with a stuffy nose, I took some On Guard, but the stuffiness remained a bit, so I took a drop of Peppermint and rubbed in on the outside of my nose where I could feel it being stuffy, wala instantly cleared up. I am telling you I am sold on this stuff. I am not saying medicine is for the birds, hardly, I just will try the oils on the first go around, then if I need the medicine, I will use it.
