It's time to let go....for everyone's sake

My take on the best way to prevent this from happening again:
People everywhere are saying it, this is a wake up call, and a call to action. I hope it is, I hope that these 20 young children here have not simply died in vain. I hope that there will be more people who stop, and look around, and help those around them. It is all to true that we will never be able to protect ourselves or our children
adequately enough from the mad men of our time. Maybe, just maybe though we have a chance at preventing the mad men, whether they are simple born mentally challenged, or simply have become so over the course of their life, from becoming mad men. That is a reachable goal no matter who you are. For don't we all start out young and innocent? What then is the difference?
We need more teachers, and less guns, we need more love, and less hate, we need more actions of service and less of self gratification, we need more understanding, and less fear of the unknown. All these things are attainable, all we need to do is reach inside ourselves and let go.
Let go of the hate, the bitterness, and the fear, let go of our judgments and insecurities. Reach past that and grasp the hand of love. This is something everyone of us old and young can do. This is what makes us great and the ONLY thing that will heal us as people, as a nation, and as a world. Person by Person, start by making the change within yourself. Look inward for a time instead of out, look forward only after you yourself have regained your balance. This is the one thing we can all do to prevent something like this from ever happening again, and until we do there is nothing else on earth that will stop it.
