Summer Time Baseball!!!

Well at least once a year we try to get the family together for a baseball game up at the park

 We don't really have teams, we all just take turns hitting the ball and running the bases while everyone else is trying to catch the ball and get you out.

 It really is a lot of fun, and even more fun when the kids get to play too!

 Reed, of course, was our die hard player who got to hit it as often as he wanted to!

 Roxy had her balls and Frisbee to play with as well!

 It was hot, though not as hot as it could have been.

 The kids just got to run all over the field and play with the dogs and on the playground

 We had a couple of home run hits and I had a double play that was really cool too!

 I can't believe how fast these pups are growing!  Even though they are now bigger than her, Roxy still tried to keep my parent's dogs away from them to protect them when we went to their house after the game for a yummy BBQ

 When we told Dani(the night before) that we were going to play baseball the next day she jumped up and down and was shouting Yay!

 So we had to make sure that she got a chance to play and run the bases too!

 I think we had all the able bodied people get a chance to hit the ball and run the bases.

 I loved this one of Dani's hands over her face.

 If you can't tell we all had a really fun time!!! Even when Fezzik tried to take off with the baseballs ;o)

 Little miss Dani no shoes is what we call her at home.

 She can't even keep them on when she tries!

 Reed was back up to bat again!

After this it was time to eat, we had all worked up quite an appetite! Thanks mom and dad for a very fun Labor Day!!!
