For those who don't know, I am the Cub Master for our Cub Scouts (I am in charge of pack meetings). I really do enjoy watching these young boys grow, and see how much they change in the course of just 3 years. It makes me take a look at Reed and see how much he is growing up too. Well anyway this is the Pinewood Derby!!! Hooray!!! (and grandpa McNeff helped Reed build a car of his own!)
We have a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for fastest car. Then we also have a separate vote for the best designed car. This year the Lego Nijago car won. (Everyone who comes votes on which car is their favorite) Reed LOVES the Nijago stuff. I thought it was pretty cool myself (it was the winner by the way) It is the 2nd car from the right.
Reed loved his Pinewood Derby car that grandpa helped him make. He said that it is very special to him because grandpa made it for him. What a sweet kid!
Here he is all stoked for winning one of the heats!
