"Colder Weather" stories :o)

If you get sound on your computer you have noticed the song "Colder Weather" by the Zac Brown Band. That has been our theme song so far this year, every time it starts to warm up the next day it snows. Old man winter will just not let go of us this year so it seems. Hence the words of the song "but I'm stuck in colder weather, maybe tomorrow will be better...". The weather man said that he can guarantee higher temps come June and July, but at this point where I woke up this morning to about an inch of snow on the ground I am begining to wonder about June. So now you know the story behind the song playing right now :o)

On a different note I have to add a few Dani moments because I don't remember Marian being this way quite as bad a Dani is. We have a "me too!" monster at our house. Anytime Marian gets something be it a hug, sticker, toy, food, you name it, the "me too!" monster needs to have one as well. The other day for example Marian had hit her leg on her bed and came crying to me, so I gave her a hug and was talking to her when Dani comes running in behind her stops then starts whining (trying to make it sound like she was hurt) and starts patting her head, then (just to show you how smart this girl is) she falls down on the floor hitting her head on a Nemo pillow just to prove that she was hurt too. A few days later the girls are in the bathroom and Marian starts crying that Dani hit her. So Dani walks out and almost on cue starts to cry about her hand (yeah the one she used to hit Marian with!) So Marian is crying about Dani hitting her and Dani is crying about her hand that hit Marian hurts! LOL. (It has been hard to keep a straight face!) If I am reading a story to Dani and the other kids want to listen to it she closes the book and throws a fit! I know I should be taking this more seriously, but I have a hard time not laughing because it is so obvious! Anyway that is life at our house for now :o)
