Reed: The Karate Kid!

So I know I have lots of posts up about the girls, but Reed is doing a lot too! Just things that I don't take pics of (like reading and kindergarten and such) So we just got him into Karate and yesterday was his first class. Needless to say he loves it!

I remember back when he was a baby and Jeff and I talked about getting him involved in Karate because he has always been so small. Now here we are and I can't believe how fast time has flown!
Speaking of being smallish, his kick was a bit too low and hit the hard plastic instead of the softer pad
He was very excited to show off his punches!
Here are some of their "moves"
He came home from class that night and practiced and practiced!

His class had the Bean Museum come and do a reptile show for them, and since I was helping this morning I got to stay and watch too! :o)

So glad that Reed wasn't scared of any of them! By the way he is doing sooooo good on his reading!!! His writing needs a bit of help but I can't believe how well he is reading!!!

How fun! I used to watch some boys that were 6 and 7 and they loved to tell how tough they were because they knew karate! It was pretty cute. Yes, I think boys can be cute too. The snakes looked fun too...it's nice that Reed isn't scared (though it's hard to imagine any of your kids being scared of something like snakes)!
