LAGOON! It's what Fun is!!!

On Saturday Jeff and I got a free day (a day without the kids) to spend up at Lagoon! It was a blast!!! Mountain America Credit Union (whom Jeff works for) got us tickets and a meal for the two of us for 20.00! It was great!!! We started the day off at Reed's T-ball game and Jeff's mom came down to watch the kids for us afterward. The first ride we went on was the Rocket! I love scaring myself silly, so I choose the "re-entry". Then I was reminded of how much Jeff hates heights, I really did feel bad, that is the one that takes you waaaayyy up slowly and lets you hang up there for a bit before dropping you. I always feel like I have left my stomach on the ground as we are slowly being taken up. After that I think we hit Wicked. That one Jeff said is his new favorite ride there, however we rode the Colossus at least 4-5 times (it was a walk on ride, no line) I LOVED the Samurai!!! I remember the year it opened, I really wanted to try it but the line for it stretched clear across the park to the other side!!! We did Rattlesnake Rapids, and the air swing! (Jeff wasn't too fond of that one either, he was such a trooper!) He took me on the train (which I had never been on) we got to have a bit of a zoo experience there (lions, and tigers, and emus, and Elk, etc.) The dinner was pretty good too, we took nice walk around Pioneer village before hand and saw another part of the park I had never been too! (no one else had ever really wanted to see it before with me) All in all we had a really good time! Next year we will remember out swim suits for the beach! ;o)
