Pumkin Carving!

Here the kids and Jeff are carving the pumkins Halloween day. Marian was really good about cleaning out her pumkin, she had a lot of fun doing it :o) I have to relate a funny story about the cat Simba who is in the pictures. You can see Danielle in the bouncy chair off to the side there in the sun, well Simba thought that she looked so nice a comfertable that he ought to join her. Unfortuanly he weighs about as much as she does so ever time he tried to climb up on her lap I had to shoo him off. Then when I had picked her up for a second he climbed right up in there and curled up. I felt bad shooing him out of the chair because the look on his face said "ahh a nice chair for my poor old tired bones." He is getting old and he doesn't handle the cold weather as well as he used to. When he first came over he hopped up on the table next to Reed and was rubbing up against him. He just loves the kids and the kids love him. It's sooo cute to have him follow us home from my mom & dad's house and have him waiting for the kids to come out and play with him. He sprawls out like that in the sun all the time. Such a crazy cat, he reminds us of our siamese cat we had named Smegole :o) Anyway back to the pumkins.... Marian got a Happy face on her's, Reed got a scary face on his and Danielle got an "oooooh" face on her's :o) (She likes to pull the "oooooh" faces"
