Mixed emotions

Wow, what a week! Jeff got his new job, his brother Jedd got married (to his 3 year girlfriend), my brother Ammon is getting married next week and we are having Nicole's shower today, Twilight came out (going to see it tonight!), and my Grandpa Fran just died. He had been battleing the Alzhimers for the past few years. A few days ago my grandma had to put him in the hospital and my dad went out to help her find a home to place him in. Then I got the call this morning from my mom that he had passed away. I feel bad for my grandma, and wish there was something that I could do to help. But I am glad that he passed so quickly. For having alzhimers he really did quite well. He really had gone downhill over the last year, but all things considered, I think he really did quite well. I wish my grandma the best of luck and my prayers go out to her. I glad that he didn't have to suffer any longer. I am also very glad that I was able to get to know him better as I have gotten older. It makes me very appreciative that we had the time with him that we did. I will forever remember the Donald Duck noises that he used to make for us as kids. We always loved it when they would come visit us because of the fun that Grandpa was. We will miss him.
